Ensuring regional vaccine production shifts power, not just factories

Examines how regional vaccine manufacturing can strengthen equitable access to vaccines by shifting decision-making power and building sustainable production capacity. It considers issues including technology transfer, financing, workforce and technical capacity, governance, intellectual property, procurement and partnerships needed to make regional vaccine production sustainable and equitable.

Comparative study of vaccination policies for healthcare personnel acorss 32 European countries, examining which vaccines are recommended or mandatory, which healhtcare personnel are targeted and how policies have changed since 2018. It includes policies for BCG/TB vaccination, as well as influenza, Covid-19, hepatitis B, MMR, varicella, pertusis, and other vaccines

African countries convene to prepare for the future rollout of new TB vaccines for adults and adolescents

WHO convened a workshop with Kenya, Malawi, and Zambia to strengthen country preparedness for the potential introduction of novel TB vaccines for adults and adolescents. The workshop focused on priority populations, delivery strategies, evidence needs, country adoption and decision-making, implementation roadmaps, health-system readiness, stakeholder engagement, and community support.
